I've just finished two Tom Robbin's books in a row. I can't believe the man has only written eight books, of which I've read five in the last year. I'd never heard of him until someone read some of my short stories and said that my style reminded them of Tom. So I immediately set out to read him. He's one of my favorite authors of all time now. Last night, at the end of Villa Incognito, like a rabbit from a hat, this magician conjured tears of transcendent joy from my inspired eyes.

That's definitely one of my favorites. I think my most favortie of all the ones I've read so far is Another Roadside Attraction, though Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas was really fun too.

You loved the book, and you couldnt help but think.. "I am an extreemly attractive black/hispanic woman who really needs a new line of work" then you sighed and had to put such thoughts away.

Yup, Jitterbug was good.

I only need to read Cowgirls, Skinnylegs and Feirce Invalids. I'm off to the library today or tomorrow to get another one.

Skinny Legs is my all time favorite Tom Robbins novel, but I too love them all.

Ooh, I think that's the next one I'm getting actually. (since it's the only one at my local library that I haven't read yet :P)
