Internet in my Head.
May. 10th, 2005 06:06 pmI've often thought of wireless internet. Really, wireless communications in general. Oodles and oodles of information, just floating through the air like sound waves and scents. So this led me to the thought, what if there was a way our brains could develop a receptor to pick up this information? The pineal gland acts as a photoreceptor for wavelengths of light that are invisible to our eye. Why can't our brains find a way to receive the internet waves bouncing around everywhere? Who's to say our brain doesn't already pick up this information but has yet to learn to process it? Can you imagine being able to just 'think' and have Google in your head? Massive amounts of information available at a thought. Completely impractical, but a lovely thought nonetheless. I've always just felt that with the right kind of concentration, I should be able to access that. Wishful thinking?
