haunting.

i think of the lake down the street from me.

imagining if that was washing up our shore.

this makes me feel
angry & sad & helpless.

It's kinda cool to look at until you remember what it is.

This is what I was thinking. At first I thought it was a piece of Murano glass, and then I realized it was definitely not art glass.

i have one word in fact: INCOMPETENCE

The thing is that it's not incompetence. This is criminal negligence. This was completely avoidable, but BP was too cheap and greedy and made TransOcean & Haliburton skip steps and use inferior materials which is the direct cause of this spill.

negligence becomed a popular topic nowadyas...the world it's like this!i'm curiouse who will pay for this...if can be paied in a way

We will pay for this. Large corporations use the feds like an insurance company in times of major crisis.

Your tax dollars, in the end, will pay for the criminal negligence of a company who cared more about their bottom line than disrupting every major ecosystem in the gulf and beyond.

If people were not losing their jobs, and states were not losing tourist dollars, you can bet BP and the feds would be moving even slower.

The evil thing is that it looks beautiful, until you consider that probably not much is alive anymore in those waves.
