I know I mock Twitter for the whole mundane post-your-breakfast thing, but goddamn, my lunch was awesome. I made a peppered turkey sandwich with muenster, garlic aioli, and slices of avocado on a nut & wheat bread and holy ambrosia, Batman. This godly invention was served with a bunch of grapes on the stem and an iced latte. Holy hell hot damn, yes sir!

I have an unhealthy love affair with aioli. When Tim and I worked at the restaurant together, he would make me wraps with herb roasted chicken, garlic aioli, avacado, mozarella ( i just tried like ten spellings for that, I know it's wrong but whatever), on fresh from the oven herbed flatbread.
Those were about all I ate the first trimester.

I love food posts, as long as it's about good foods and it's properly descriptive of the deliciosity.

Avocado just does something magical to sandwiches. Not that all of your other ingredients aren't good, but avocado always takes it to the next level.

ok, i am now officially hungry as hell! my lunch was a gondola (also known as a 'pide' in turkish)--pizza dough wrapped around a thin layer of alfredo topped with chicken i marinated in pesto and lemon juice before i grilled it, and that topped with grilled: red peppers, portabello mushrooms, onions and lightly wilted spinach. i put a layer of provolone over that and folded it up open-faced inside the dough. brushed the whole thing with beaten egg, poured the rest of the egg inside, and then baked the whole thing in our wood-fired oven. we had sliced tomatoes drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with fresh oregano on the side. nom nom nom. yours sounds so fucking good though!!!! i picked up some avocados and bacon for cobb salad for supper tomorrow. mmmmmm <3
