I'm not getting my LJ comments and Gmail is down.

Oddly, I'm not upset about John Hughes. He was never more to me than his movies, which were huge influences and made strong impressions on me growing up. His best work was behind him and he lives on in my psyche. He's immortal!

My Gmail is working fine now. Apparently Firefox wanted to update and was throwing a hissy fit until I rebooted it :P
