My insurance has approved my surgery, thus I am going to Salt Lake City in two-and-a-half weeks.  I have to check in on the 20th and the surgery is on the 21st.  I'll be in the hospital for five to seven days.  Now I just have to figure out how to get there,

i think that you should hitchhike there and film the whole thing. call it "heartland".

If there's intermittent wireless signals, there'll be LJ posts.

That's a great iea if I had time to do that. I also contemplated trying to create a relay system of LJ users across America to get me there, like a baton-passing :)
