A journal entry does not a narrative make.

I planned badly. I didn't think to bring a lunch today and I also have no money. I am very hungry. I won't be home from school until 6pm. Is it manorexia if it's only for one day? I have two TicTacs left. That will have to do.
A bright note, I have a haircut appointment set for tomorrow. That's nice. I need one.
Bad news? It's supposed to rain and/or snow practically nonstop for the next week. That means no bike-riding, which is not nice.
Good news? Umm... I uh, don't know.
I am actually bored. Weird.
I am disappointed that I'm not liking The Crying of Lot 49 more. Whenever I read something that is universally panned as the coolest thing ever and I'm not 100% in awe of it, I feel lacking, as if I'm too dense to get it.
Jacquelyn is heading off next week to Boston for a conference and leaving me to my own devices while she hobnobs with famous scientists and dazzles them with her dizzying intellect.
I watched part of The Corporation in sociology today and the section about commercials and marketing, especially toward children scared me to death and made me very proud that I do not have any sort of broadcast television. I get my TV on DVD through NetFlix, so I bypass all of the consumerist brainwashing videos commercials. We watched another video on trade with a lot of emphasis on the fair-trade coffee industry and I was very happy to know that I buy fair-trade.
Seriously, fuck the World Trade Organization and the World Bank. When I am King of the World, I'm going to have to dismantle them and start over from the beginning. This is not the way to build a one-world government.
Thirty-five minutes until my next class. If I keep typing, I forget that I'm hungry. Maybe I'll drink a quick gallon of water or something. Hell, I fasted for three days once, I can do this.
And just for the amusement:
