I went to the zoo on Saturday with Jacquelyn and Ethan. Everything was pretty normal. I am still going to steal the tamarins. They will come home and live with me and the cats will give them rides around the house and we'll be a big, happy pseudo-family.

Ok, everything was normal, except the pissed-off polar bear who was lounging in his swimming pool, then got out and started stalking back and forth giving everyone the stink-eye with a strutting posture that said, "Oooh, you giggling sons-of-bitches, if I could just get past this barrier, I'd eat every one of you!   Oh, and what a fine meal it would be!"




In other news:

I finally finished that flyer I started a long damned time ago. The promoters kept adding new talent and frills until it inflated from a simple half-page flyer (5.5"x8.5") to a whopping 6"x12" which might not seem like a lot, but that's a huge flyer, especially for the Wisconsin rave scene, which is all but dead compared to the heyday of the mid-to-late 90's. Here is the final product, the front, and the back.

Yeah, actually, I didn't really work on itmuch since I did the first draft. I kept putting it off because they kept giving me more info and I just stopped working on it until I finally had all the information :P

Haha, I'm adjusting to a first shift schedule, and I remember last time I was on that schedule, like two+ years ago, I was a bear in the a.m. as well. SO far, it hasn't been bad :)

I don't know if I'll go yet. Jacqui won't go, not her scene. I haven't gone to a rave in quite a while. The magic has left the scene :( Now it's like going to a funeral that never ends.

Hey, it's Jacqui's cats causing all the trouble :) My cats are confused why there's this other cat trying to be all mean and alpha on them.

Actually, my cats would try to catch the tamarins (they're tiny monkeys!) and would probably eat them :(

The vision of a tamarin riding a cat around the house has got to be the cutest thing I have ever seen (in my head). Ha! That made my day, and will be my totem against all the crap I have to get done. :)
