Feb. 6th, 2010 01:02 amMy new Nikon came in the mail today. I can't wait to take it out, but I shot around the house while acclimating myself to its features and functions and all that lovely jazz. So far I really like it and figuring out all the modes and switching from auto to manual and adjusting aperture and holy run-on sentence batman and whatnot is relatively intuitive.

( Cats, kid, and flowers. )
All of these have little to no post-processing. Soooooo excited.
I also finally got my fiber paper shipment in for my creative photography class, so I went to open lab today to develop some prints. The first assignment is double exposures, so they take forever to get set up just right. I definitely want to experiment with them more, but the first assignment is getting critiqued first thing Monday, so I had to get two prints done and mounted today. Hard work, people, let me tell ya.
Tomorrow, yoga and a lot of reading for history. Mark Twain and Woodrow Wilson. Good times.
