Three Minute Contest
Oct. 16th, 2004 11:27 amThis was written as a challenge to write a poem in three minutes. This one took about four. Shit.

"Three Verse Ego, Four Line Loss"
In the end of surreal mess,
I stress the death of lost abscess,
Black as pitch and wide as white,
A mighty might reveres this fight.
A lamb of passion, sacraficial incision,
To weigh on this weight, the instant decision,
Alas, I arrive through long night's ride,
A rumbling stilleto still lodged inside.
Pay the piper, the Lord of Paper,
Noxious smoke and inhaled vapor,
The light of the candle lancing his saddle,
I'm up mystic river with-out a paddle.
