Of course, take away! I just found the source images and thought, "Hey, these would make great LJ icons!"

When I was a young teen, I had the idea that if I were to ever off myself, I would go to a big city, get to the roof of a large building and then wait for someone to get mugged in an alley, then jump off and land on the mugger, killing us both.

the OR nurses always joked that they were going to write an instruction manual because more often than not people don't know how to do it. and they end up surviving with very disiguring injuries.

A friend of a friend tried to use this icon (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/fnord777/gun.jpg) but at the last moment pulled away, resulting in half his face geting blown off, but surviving.

Unless you're French! Did your hear about this? A woman took a bunch of sleeping pills to kill herself and while she was out, her dog ate her face. Then after she was healed, doctors in France gave her the first-ever partial face transplant, from a woman who just committed suicide.

How weird is that to have someone elses face?

yeah i did hear about that and evidently shes very happy. i know one of the plastic surgeons in Madison who wants to be the first to do this int he united states.

For practical purposes, and a sense of honor and a planned clean death, I am partial to the first one. However, the bear one does have some appeal.. just think of the stories that will be told at your wake! Reporters will interview the guy that sold you the cymbals "He said he was joining a marching band.." Friends will wonder increduously, "there were THREE sleeping bears...?" and Parents will lament the day when you were 5 and they took you to the zoo and you had your first exposure to bears.

Some of the ones that are more literal are almost a little weird to see...mostly the bathroom wrist one, but maybe because that's always the one I'd fantasize about. Just a bit unsettling. I think you should link them all together and flash one after another.

I didn't go to Goddard until August of 03. I think mine was the first low-residency after the on-campus program shut down. But I could be mistaken.

I wouldn't do the car bit, I'd SO live :P I already flipped a car several times and I didn't even get hurt. I skidded on glare ice and hit a semi and would have gotten away clean, except the airbag scratched my face. Car accidents aren't my thing. I'll go with something that's not a gamble. Like leaping into a volcano. After I steal the One Ring from Frodo.
