According to MyHeritage.com's Face Recognition website, and this picture, I look most like a young Orson Welles.

For some reason, I can see that, in the nose and cheeks, I think.

(Oddity... after Jacqui showed me a picture of you, I said, "For some reason I see her on Gilmore Girls" and I've never even seen that show. Then I checked out your IMDB entry and saw that you had already been on that show. Weird.)

Twice! (Clearly you have a calling as a casting director.)

I've always thought I did. How does one get that job anyway? I never see ads in the paper for it :P

Well, as far as I can tell, the easiest (big grain of salt) route is to start as an intern/assistant in a casting office. Most of the CD's I know started that way. It means some months at least of working for nothing, usually, but around here at least, smart people move up fast. Aside from that, there are always small films looking for someone to help with casting, so you start building relationships with directors and producers and actors and before you know it, you're on your way...

At least that's how I THINK it works :)

Ah, about what I thought. Hmmm...

Can't I just call studios and tell them who I think should be in movies? :P

Absolutely! (But I think there's a different title for people who do that... :)

There's always a catch, isn't there?

Maybe I can sell a script then pull and Matt&Ben and get myself casted and work up from there :P Anybody can write and sell a script. I saw it in a movie... Bowfinger, I think it was :P

Giggle snort!
Sure hope the program being used to recognize terrorists at airports works better than this one. Instead of Osama, they'll bag Mr. Rogers and Martha Stewart.

Because everyone knows Madonna nd Frank Capra are like identical twins :P
