My First Sonnet

Legions of Discontent
+++++++++++++++++++++
Was running, I fell and tripped on my lace,
Embarrassed perhaps to land on my face,
Floating and coated with sudden disgrace,
The pain and the pleasure of winning the race.
The stink of the world is purging below,
Aquarian vibes to go with the flow.
Esoteric reverb raging although,
Satiety ricochets more than you know.
Children hang on the sleeves of forever,
Frazzled nerves ever linking together,
Settled accounts, affecting the weather.
Lasting impressions are always better.
Legions of discontent rattle my soul,
Playing the role, disenchantment below,
Filling these dreams with an aura of mirth,
Twists of providence, my own surreal birth.
Like shattering gold, the Angels must work,
They laugh and they smirk at my soul’s last quirk.
