Today I'm a tub of butter but...
Apr. 25th, 2005 09:09 amat the moment I'm wondering what it feels like to be a turbine.
I just had another psychological astrology report done. It was a relationship chart/reading with my friend/kind-of-would-have-been girlfriend. It confirmed all the worst things about myself, all my relationship issues and problems. It was horribly gut-wrenching and almost sadistically accurate. Here's a little excerpt, not the worst parts, but a good blend. (Aren't I a good little Taoist?)
PERSONALITY: the Matron - “I am here for you.” He is sensitive and delicate, tending to be fearful yet tough. His primary reactive faculties are emotional, based upon gut instinct. He is in constant search of safety and security. He is empathetic, romantic, and dreamy.
PARTNERSHIP: the Solid Eternal Relationship. The theme here is uncertainty. There is a need for protection, and walls may be built. Things are all too dependent upon moods and impulses, thus unconscious programming. He displays naiveté when it comes to the realities of a relationship. This may make him seem unrealistic and somewhat detached from the gruff actualities of life.
IDEAL PARTNER: the Leader. His ideal partner is a very secure person with a straightforward disposition. His partner is the type of person who is willing to take on responsibility, and who enjoys solving problems. It is though he seeks someone fatherly to counterbalance his motherly nature.
AS A LOVER: He tends to dominate his partner, for there is nothing casual about him. He may appear a little too anxious in relationships, and should attempt to take a step back whenever possible. He places an unusually high level of importance on honesty and consistency in relationships. He tends to act rashly in relationships, before thinking things over thoroughly. What may seem like problems or dysfunction to his partner, he sees as sources of mutual pleasure and togetherness. He is quite intense in romantic affairs and requires a constant sexual outlet. If he goes without this for some time, he may overwhelm his new partner considerably.
Needless to say, I'm feeling a bit churned this morning. Quasintrospective feedback loops channeling flow of ribald buttons pushed for panic induction through stress reduction. That didn't make any sense, but it was necessary.
On a lighter note, I've recently decided that Coin-Operated Boy by the Dresden Dolls is the best song ever. I'll most likely change my mind in a few days, but right now, it's ambrosia for my ears. Oh and Finding Out True Love is Blind by Louis the XIV is the cheesecake served right after the ambrosia. Yummy!
I did get down twenty pages of notes yesterday for this story idea that I have. It's a terribly ambitious project and I don't know if I'm actually good enough to write it, but it's a challenge and I'm going to try. How does one render a serious-plotted mystery/conspiracy caper witty and ridiculously absurd? I think this will be my first real black comedy.
Hey Carrot Juice.
