If I'm not mistaken, I think Figaro and I actually /will/ be your neighbors of sorts in June. I loved that show so much when I was little- my favorite part was when he'd come in and change into his "inside" shoes and sweater, and when he'd feed the fish. And I liked Trolley. Alas for the children's shows of my youth! Reading Rainbow, early Nickelodion like Pinwheel and Today's Special, early Disney like Gummi Bears, Masters of the Universe (I had all the figures) and Transformers (oddly I didn't have any of those)...Excuse me while I go make a peanut butter and fluff sandwich and look for my childhood.

Figaro? Welcome neighbor!!

I loved the other world, and it's herald, the trolly. I really liked that it was just some guy at home, totally normal, but amazing things were going on where they were least expected.

Gummi Bears, bouncing here and there and everywhere! OMG!

Maters of the Universe (I watched He-Man AND She-Ra!) I loved Transformers.. had a bit of G.I. Joe phase, Ooh, Thundercats and SilverHawks.. VOLTRON.. There was a Dungeons and Dragons cartoon that was on for a short time, I lvoed that. You Can't Do That on Television and Mr. Wizard! Oh and who can forget Bill Cosby's PICTURE PAGES!

Oooh, oooh, ooooh!!! I loved You Can't Do That on Television! The firing squad guy was the best!

Figaro is currently the only man in my life. He's definitely some sort of cat deity, and is occasionally convinced he's alternately a pony, a puppy, and a pirate- his alter ego is named Captain Sillywhiskers.

Ah, my male cat diety is Loki, who also goes by Mr. Peepers. Loki is a sacred name reserved for extreme veneration of his most mischeviousness!

I am so glad someone else remebers You cant do that on television! That show was great. It reminds me of Monty Python. Am I the only one who thinks some of the animation in both were similar?
