jackshoegazerThe next project for photography is memories of childhood. Since I grew up in the middle of nowhere (quite literally, in southern Indiana, in towns with populations of 200 people with no store, two bars, and one shuttered church,) I'm thinking I'll drive into the Wisconsin equivalent of the middle of nowhere and take some photos.
Jacquelyn suggested I take some photos of vintage Star Wars characters, which is also good. Those were my favorite movies. Last week I did a double exposure of Ethan and a McQuarrie Veder helmet. It was creeptastic.
I also considered setting the self-timer and lashing out toward the camera with a belt in hand and my bearded face twisted in rage. Because that was in my childhood too.
But then, I do have to read my Woodrow Wilson book. So far, he is a great president and this book makes me sad when I see everything that was at our fingertips and all that has slipped away.
If I stay up after everyone else goes to bed, the cats don't sleep on our bed. They come into the living room and sleep on the couch until I go to bed.
We are their sun and they will follow us to the horizon.
