The Day is Off

I am about to run out of the house. Walk, to be more accurate, but you know how we are with hyperbole.

I will buy ingredients for Irish Beef Stew.  Good one, but you forgot toilet paper.

I will mail three DVDs for swapadvd.com.

I will go to the camera store and look into buying a tripod and a remote timer.  Turns out my camera doesn't do remotes.  Grr.

I will go to the gym and do forty minutes on the elliptical and some weights.

I will pick up Prozac for my cat.

I can't think of anything else I absolutely have to do. I should have some leftover Hunan chicken first. Yum.

My history class has a lot of required reading. I may still try to read along in People's History as well.


EDIT:
I just got back and will have to go out again once I get the stew in the slow-cooker.  I forgot my iPod and there's no serious working out without it.

I looked locally for remotes for my camera and found them to be frightfully expensive. I finally bought mine off of ebay for $40 from some shop in Hong Kong. Have used them twice (for two different camera plugs) - would be happy to dig them up if you're interested.

I read up to the part where the gov't starts shooting striking workers and had to stop. I've always meant to finish when I wasn't so angry but I've learned that won't happen, so I might as well finish it.

After a thorough reading of the manual and a second opinion by the camera store guy, it has been concluded that my camera is totally not compatible for a remote :(

I have also discovered that my camera doesn't have multiple exposure/manual film advance options either.

Yeah - she's very anxious and overgrooms. Apparently for cats, Prozac works as a behavior modification drug for OCD issues - you put them on it for about six months and the OCD issues go away and then you wean them off of it.

If I forget my iPod I pretty much refuse to work out. Unless I'm going to a class, because then they bring the music.
