School Days

I want to punch my Weather & Climate class.  The teacher just got hired (she TA'd this class at UW several times, so she teaches it like a discussion section) and is pretty unprepared.  It doesn't help that half of our class time is wasted by a gentle gradient of fuckiness that ranges from the well-coifed California dude with the Bill&Ted drawl and half his ass hanging out of his pants asking questions that were either answered ten minutes earlier or make no sense whatsoever (So, like, uh, why are those formulas in Kelvin when we like, uh, use F and C and why not like, Joules or whatever?) to the autistic-savant who constantly interrupts the teacher with questions and criticisms light-years beyond the depth this class is designed for or from chapters months ahead in the sylabus.  I find myself in a constant state of annoyance.

Oh, and I biked into school (four miles), did two miles on the elipticals, lifted a ton of weights, and biked home (four more miles.)  I am exhausted.



I developed my first two rolls of film today.  A lot of them turned out great.  I can't wait to show you.

That sucks about your class, man. The one thing I'm grateful for is that even though a few of the people in my class aren't super geniuses they at least stay vaguely on topic and seem mostly to follow what's going on.
