I fairly effectively made the switch in order to save space in txts back when they didn't automatically get extended to a longer or a second message.

Oddly enough, I never double-space in txts. Just on full-size keyboards.

Why wouldn't you just keep typing two spaces and do a find and replace when you're done?

Team Eff the MLA here. I learned on a typewriter and I know Mrs. Perry would be on my case if I failed to add those extra spaces. I can't let an old lady down...
