Seriously, don't you people miss the days where I did nothing and waxed philosophical about heartache and esoteric mysticism?

I just finished my Classical Mythology final and I did pretty well. The only possible mistake was that I couldn't remember which of Odysseus' lovers, Circe & Calypso, lived on which islands, Ogygia & Aeaea. I also couldn't remember Eumaeus' name.

I now have two hours before my Environmental Issues final, which should be pretty easy, except it's my only cumulative final.

Is it wrong I want to hug my teachers afterwards and I feel a little sad that I may not see them again?

Except my lit teacher, who I've had for every one of my English-related classes so far and have again next semester for creative writing.  Since I know I'll see her again, I don't miss her.  Plus, I've driven her in my cab twice.  When I transfer to the university, she will definitely be one of the people I ask for a letter of recommendation.  While she's generally been überimpressed with my writing, I'm excited for next semester because creative writing is where I'm strongest, methinks.

OMG, you guys, have I told you how awesome my hair looks today?  SQUEEE!

I like hearing it. I miss academia. I also had some profs who I really loved and was sorry to be finished learning from when it was time to move on. I think that is the mark of a good educator, personally. Sadly, there aren't that many that stand out in this way.

I'm glad they went so well so far!

I always got sniffly saying goodbye to my teachers, I always felt like I got so much out of knowing them and was sad it wouldn't continue and that I couldn't give back beyond learning well.

Whatever, I bet your hair did look good today.
