Just make sure the camera stays still and take multiple photos so the background is always the same, paste them over each other and cut out the parts you don't want.

Okay, apparently I was amalgamating two different characters. The first is Jamie Maddrox, aka "Multiple Man", from the X-Men Comics. The second is the character "Multi-Man" from the H-B cartoon of the 60s "The Impossibles". Same basic power, tho.

These are really awesome! I totally have to break out the tripod and do this with my cats.

I'm still trying to figure out how you did the foreground instances of yourself and Ethan. The rest look relatively easily cropped, but I can't figure out how to do the foreground ones without heavy use of the photoshop magic wand and pixel-by-pixel trimming or something like that anyway. At any rate, I'd be really interested in knowing.
