Think about the power unleashed when we split an atom.  Every atom contains forces so powerful, just waiting, itching to be released.  Now, think of how many atoms make up just your body.  Don't you see how powerful we are, how much energy we're walking around with every moment of our lives?

Because the bus might split one of your atoms and cause a chain reaction that will kill millions of people and possibly destroy the Earth?

Or because we each have a spark of potential in us and it is our purpose in this life to exhaust that potential?

Or am I missing it?
