Happy Meal Sold With Pot, Pipe and Lighter

Family reports that their eight year old daughter found pot, pipe and lighter in a Happy Meal from McDonald's
A Chicago family went to McDonald’s for a normal drive through to get food for them and for their eight year old daughter. They ordered three Happy Meals and wanted to go picnic and eat in a schoolyard. But they were anything but happy with what they received. The employee packed his pipe, marijuana and lighter in the happy meal box and gave it to the kid.

The employee, 17 year old high school senior said to the cops that it was a mistake and didn’t do it purposefully. He left the drugs in an empty box to hide it, but either him or someone filled the Happy Meal contents in it and gave it to the family.

Crying infants hidden by childcare worker

LAFAYETTE, Tennessee (AP) -- The state has closed a day care facility after a worker allegedly hid crying infants in a storage room during an unannounced inspection, possibly to disguise inadequate staffing, officials said.

Officials said the day care worker put three infants -- all younger than 2 years old -- in their playpens and pinned blankets over the tops of the playpens. She then shut the door and posted a sign: "Private Day Care does not go beyond this door."

Two of the infants were crying when the inspector arrived. When the inspector found them, the worker acted as if she did not know they were there, according to the state's suspension order.

1. I wonder if the 17 year old asked if he could have it back! ;D
2. It's a scary world we live in.

No doubt. It reminded me of the people who bought a dresser from Home Depot and found a large brick of pot hidden in one of the drawers.

"...where the buffalo rome..."

I don't know whether to tut at the spelling, or to laud the fact that whoever put it up has even heard of Rome.

For some reason I am most entertained by the misspelling on the sign in that last one.

That's the best. Way to perpetuate the stereotype of the uneducated Appalachian hick.
