I have just arrived home from work and, dag nabit, I'm going to sleep. I've managed a whopping 7.5 hours of sleep in the past 60ish hours, so, I'm going to enter the DreamTime and stay there as long as the Keepers of the Gates of DreamLand will allow me. I just read an excellent book on Dream Interpretation called 'Sex, Symbols and Dreams' and it's almost as if the Keepers have been working with the Cosmic Coincidence Control Center to keep me out of DreamLand, lest I use my newfound interpretive powers to unlock all the Secrets of my Psyche and the Vast Collective. "Bring it!" said the Collective. To which I have replied, "Oh, it's already been brought!"

Good luck with interpereting and such. I had a really cool dream about stingrays the other day. I wanted to sell them to a restaurant, but my mom said no. So, I didn't make cash. Sad.

An interpretation of that Dream: Stingray are creatures of the Ocean. The Ocean is commonly the emotions, but more likely the Unconscious. Mothers usually represent the wiser feminine aspects of our psyche. Therefore: You are trying to profit from the products or creatures of your Unconscious but a wiser part of you is telling you that it's improper to "make cash" from those emotional/unconscious creatures.

I had waking-dreams while i was on various opiates in the past. Like one time I was in the hospital and you know those TVs where you can only channel UP and you have to hold it down for 3 channels to get it to shut off? Well, I had just gotten a big dose and and decided to take a nap because nothing was on. I held the UP button and the channels just kept cycling, like it wouldn't shut off. I look down at the remote in my hand and there is NO remote in my hand. I look up at the TV and it is off, and then I look to the side table and the remote is over on that. Weird. Oh and another time during the same hospital visit, the nurses were all cartoons. BUt I'm used to that by now :P

I was just in the hospital the once, but it was for 10 days. Turns out i have mediastenal fibrosis, which is a really fancy way of saying that i have a small, dime sized mass of scar tissue in my chest, just above my heart.

so while many people have scars on their hearts only metaphorically, you've got some literally.

lucky you, eh?

Yeah, and the most effed up part of it: I had just had my heart broken by the love of my life, my supposed soulmate. Yeah, totally effed.
