Oh, wow. Excellent work. You should do more series like this in the future. I love how you took these images and made them your own. I'll definitely be using some of these, and I especially like:

1,3,5,10, 11, 12, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, and 32. ::whew!::

Wow, that's a lot :)

Yeah, I was skeptical because I didn't think I'd be making them my own, but I managed :)

You dork, you can't post these both in YOUR journal AND your journal community! :) That defeats the purpose. :)

Sure I can. I post it in my journal for the people who read my journal and I have every other post in the other icon communities linked to the post in iconomicon, so everyone, all the strangers are directed to the community, not my personal journal.

So what's the point of your flist being a member of [livejournal.com profile] iconomicon?!

Date: 2006-03-31 07:48 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] jackshoegazer.livejournal.com
I suppose there isn't one. The community is mostly to keep the icon people from flooding my personal flist if it's icons theyre just interested in. I might phase out icon posts to my regular journal eventually and just mention in my "here's what I'm up to" posts that I've updated it.

what is that effect you use on most of them?
i don't know how to describe it.
maybe you just alter the hue a bit?

Date: 2006-03-31 07:32 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] jackshoegazer.livejournal.com
Basically. I use a four-layer hue adjustment. First, I use a very, almost-black dark blue on an exclusion later, then above that, a olive-to-black gradient on soft light, then a tan-to-black gradient of soft light, then top it off with a light blueish/violet color burn. It makes a lot of the colors really POP and gives some photos that 70's polaroid look. I lurve it :)

I was hoping you wouldn't catch on to my "i" and "e" mishap. Why can't English be spelled like Spanish? *angry fist*
