Blurb on the weekend full of IRL-LJ.
Jul. 5th, 2008 11:41 pmThis has been a weird weekend. What? you ask, It's only Saturday night - the weekend's not over! Ah, but mine basically is. My weekend is Thursday night through Saturday night. And it's over. And yeah, I was busy the whole time. Unusually social.

angrybunnyman's birthday, where I not only officially got to meet angrybunnyman, but also met a lot of other LJ people I didn't know. Let me see if I can remember... I know for sure I met assfingers, and medeine. There were others but I am very bad with names, and worse at socializing. (Granted, I used to be a social butterfly, but it would appear that I had a set number of extrovert hours available and I've burned them all up.)
Friday, the glorious Independence Day, was spent at a barbecue atbrdgt's where there were many more LJers, like twilighttreader, glassdolphin, heyfoureyes, and there were others, I'm sure of it. It's very odd to meet fellow LJers. I don't know how I feel about it. On one hand it's great and on the other, I kind of liked the anonymity. (Not that I have much since my journal is completely unlocked and I post not only my real name but tons of photographs of myself.)
The ever-cheerful and delightfulsasha_feather was kind enough to give Jacqui & I rides to both events. Thank you!
Okay peoples, I am going to sleep. Last night I dreamed I was trapped in some weird other-worldly dimensional box and I couldn't get out until I learned something, figured something out. I did and as soon as I did I woke up. I can't remember what it was.
