jackshoegazerJacquelyn is making Toad in the Hole. Last week she made Bangers and Mash. Why do the Brits have such wonky names for their food? (Jacquelyn hereby requests that I add that she made vegetarian versions of these. For instance Toad was made with herbed vegetables instead of pork sausage. Almost the same thing, but not quite.)
Hamburgers should be called Cow in a Blender Sandwiches?
I would like to say I'm having an abysmal, dismal day, because it sounds cool, but it's an utter lie.
I have to go now because I think we're going to watch a movie before I have to run off to work, but I will leave you with this thought:
I am not going to Egypt until I can stay in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid. I want to do a long fast and meditation, capped off with three days in a sarcophagus in the King's Chamber. At the very least, I want to sleep a night in there.
Aleister Crowley got to do it on his honeymoon. Napoleon did it, but then he had just conquered Egypt, and that gives one special privileges.
I wonder if I write a letter to the Egyptian government if they'll make an exception for me.
I am pretty special, after all.
