I finished yet another Terry Pratchett book last night, The Fifth Elephant. So for over a month now or so, I've been reading only books by British authors. (Did I tell you this already? This seems really familiar. Hmmm... déjà vu?) Anyhoo, I've read a bunch of Pratchett, Harry Potter books, American Gods by Neil Gaiman, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon, and High Fidelity by Nick Hornby.

Shit! I just dug back in my journal and found that I did indeed post about this before. But I went to all that trouble to type it in, so deal with it, I'm not deleting it. Besides, now you know that my British trend has continued. I'll go to the library tomorrow and get some books by some Americans. Maybe.

I've been recruited to do another flyer for Outlawed Productions for a party called "Farmed Out". They said they want two cows fucking on the front. Anyone got a picture of bovine sex? I can't seem to find one anywhere. The closest I've found is a cow licking it's own ass. What good is the internet if you can't find pictures of animal procreation? What's that fetish called where people dress up in animal costumes and get busy? Maybe that would work. Help! This is the weirdest flyer request I've ever had.

Alright, dear readers, I have to get to bed and do my duties in SleepyTimeDreamLand. Au revoir!

Geez. How about a pic of cows sitting at table enjoying a candlelit dinner, eating a rack of human legs and arms, sauted(sp)? in mushroom sauce, toasting with wineglasses. I think this would be more "classy," yet unique. Maybe with a violinist serenading the lovely cow couple. Or maybe martinis. They should be drinking martinis...

Trust me, if it's this hard to find cows mating, it'll be even harder to find a picture of them dining on humans all civilized-like. And they don't pay me enough to create the image all on my lonesome.

It IS a good idea though. I like your idea better, but something tells me they're going for shock value.

Furries, I believe.

Correct! Thanks. I knew it was furries or plushies or something like that.

Pratchett has been fun. He's not profound, but deeply entertaining, like a good TV show.

America Gods was okay. Not the best, but certainly not the worst.

The best writing either of them have done, (that I've read anyway) was their book Good Omens, which they co-wrote. THAT book is AMAZINGLY good.

well, yeah. it's not like pratchett is giving you amazing insight to life or anything, but it's worth a read.

and i've never even heard of good omens. i'll have to check it out. right now i'm in the middle of muddling my way through the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. lol.

I'm reading Douglas' Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. It's pretty good so far. I almost like it better than Hitchikers...
