Today was good whether it's lyrical or not. I'm not crazy anymore, I've fallen into an healthy mindset again. Things are turning around. Can I get a WOOT-WOOT!!11?

We got the power back on. I have an interview for a new job which pays over a third more than my current job. I'll probably like it less because my current job is easy-shmeasy with no dress code. With the new job I'll have to go business casual and I'll have an office. I'll have to be, God forbid, professional. It's a sacrifice I'll have to deal with; I need to get my material base rebuilt. It's hard to build temples in the sky if you're swimming in pig shit. That's what I always say.

I got up early today and cleaned the basement office/art/lounge room, which sorely needed it, managed to get all the laundry done, and took a shower so hot I used all the hot water. While all this was going on I was chatting with an intimidatingly intelligent young woman who was stuck inside on a rainy day. How often do you meet Bukowski-loving, Guinness-drinking, Scrabble-players with a penchant for Thai food and The Big Picture? No very fucking often, let me tell yeh.

Speaking of beer, if anyone wants to bring me some, they should head right over.

I'm just feeling really great right now. I really appreciate you all and you should know that.

i'd bring you beer, but i am too lazy and tired to drive all that way. plus i have to go to bed at a decent hour. but i am very glad that you are feeling lots better, and have met a nice girl.

That's true, but with this job, I'll actually have to WORK. There won't even be time to sleep. I'm not used to jobs where I actually have to WORK. Icky!
