So, 23% of our business is giving people who are on various forms of medical assistance rides to their doctors and therapists and whatnot. As of July 1st, rather than the hospitals and clinics and caseworkers of those people being able to call whomever they want (which is primarily my company because we're the best), they have to arrange their rides through a brokerage company who make their money denying rides to people. This brokerage company doesn't like us much and are trying to find someone cheaper to do their rides. Right now, we get about 30 calls per hour from medical assistance. As of July 1st, we may get as little as zero rides, maybe as much as 10 per hour. Other states that use this company have hated them, so I'm hoping the contract doesn't last, but who can say. Either way, I'm likely going to see a cut in pay.
