The iconomicon will be LJ-Spotlit for a week starting June 20th.  I fully expect a ton of new members and comments and of course, trolls and douchebags.

Jacquelyn and I went to see Woody Allen's new movie Midnight in Paris, which was amazing.  If you haven't had it spoiled for you, go see it before it gets spoiled.  Allen seriously hit it out of the park.

This summer is shaping up nicely so far.  I work from 6:45 to 3 weekdays and then I go to the gym afterwards.  I've just started week four of the couch-to-5k program and it hasn't killed me yet.  I also ran my first mile at a whopping thirteen minutes.  Embarrassing, especially since I ran a five-minute mile in high school when I was a grungy stoner.

Somehow, I've managed to get myself sick, but on the bright side, I have two words: leftover naan.

In other exciting news: I've been solicited to photograph my first wedding, which will also be my first paying gig ever.  I'm pretty excited about it, but also pretty nervous.  I am a consummate amateur.

Nice photos! The second one is my favorite--I dig the contrast between the clean geometric lines and the roughness that we can see in some places (the cracked cement, the banged-up edge of the doorframe).
