I got a call from my friend Mitch the other day.  A promoter friend of his needed a small flyer for a hip-hop Halloween party, before Friday, with a budget of $50.  Would I be willing to do it?

I'm broke, so uh, YEAH.  (Plus I genuinely enjoy this simple design work.)

Here's the result:

 

I set myself the goal of getting it done in under five hours, and I got it done in closer to four.  Not too shabby indeed.

I wish I'd had a couple days to really work on it, but it's definitely not bad for a few hours.

I had no idea there was such a competition. I am sheltered and old, apparently. Kids these days!
