When we were in Colorado, Jacquelyn and I got our photo taken at one of those Ye Olde Tyme photography places.  Below, ye shall see me as a wild west ruffian and Jacquelyn as a friendly saloon girl.  We went with the pose the photographers were pushing for - the more authentic I guess, but we both want to do this again and ham it up a bit.  We've even joked about this being a tradition and getting one of these every year :)

Your beard is trimmed way too neat for you to be a proper ruffian. Meanwhile, I'm trying to find some way to compliment Ms. Jacquelyn on her fine portrayal of a harlot without getting myself slapped.

Indeed. This is the second time today that I've found an AMAer in the comments of a non-AMA friend...

Compliments will NEVER result in slaps - at least, not from me. ;)

Next time we have to do the Civil War. And you know me - I like period! Not that I mind that you want me to show off my cleavage more...this photo doesn't do it justice!

I can see us with an album of Old Time-y photos on our coffee table. :) Jacquelyn and Jeremy, Time Travelers Extraordinaire!

OMG! Someone needs to start an Olde Type Photo place but FOR THE FUTURE! You could have what different eras thought the future would look like - 50's future, 60's future, et cetera!

Get on it, sir... :)

Robot dogs! Space helmets!

We should totally get a printer and do this at Wiscon! It would be perfect for the Gathering!

And rather than just future - it could be just costumes in general - future, past, scifi, fantasy, surreal, plus all different places and times. And with my photoshopping skills. I think I may just give up my writing career to open a costume photography business.

Oh, man - that would go over so well! We'd need a HUGE costume selection...

Too bad my credit is crap - I could write up a business plan and get a loan for good camera equipment and a huge supply of costumes. I wonder how much it would cost to rent out all of Mallat's costumes for a weekend.

They're totally different, though - they're the kind that tie in the back so people of many sizes can wear them. We could start sewing some...

There's *got* to be a supplier for those kind of costumes.

Yeah, but for historical ones - I'll bet there's nothing out there for futuristic/fantasy ones! Take a costume-making class! We could totally start out with just one 1950's future scene and one fantasy scene...
