Thanks, that's good to hear and I *know* I'm not, but I also do the thought experiment and try to view my experiences through the eyes of a strict material objectivist.

Dali used to say that the difference between a crazy person and himself is that he knows where the door is and can walk back out.

I will get so mad if mystic experiences are ever coded.

My professor is a Native American and grew up in a culture that encourages and seeks altered states/spiritual experiences and is intrigued by the mystic/religious side of schizophrenia. She finds it very amusing that mainstream American culture doesn't recognize these experiences as being positive or valuable.
