What's scary is that McCain circa 2000 was much better and seemed a decent guy. We know from his extensive history he was still a bit of a douche, but he was decent. Then he got trounced by the Republican machine he fought against, and in the following years, became one of them and now, they're running his campaign.
I love it that this election is about issues. Though, after last night, and really the whole election, I think a lot of people, even if they don't 100% agree with Obama are choosing a president that is intelligent, poised and, God-forbid, PRESIDENTIAL.
