There have been a lot of complaints from the Right that Palin's Katie Couric interview was just Gotcha! Journalism. There is nothing Gotcha! about it. Especially since Couric asked Joe Biden the SAME questions and he wasn't Got! Watch this video wherein Couric asks about Roe V Wade and compare Biden's answers to Palin's.

I kind of agree, except for the part where you're not allowed to make one misstep, you have to parse every word so ridiculously carefully else an innocent statement turns into OMG UR TEH RACIST ZOMG!

Yeah, I sorta like the idea of politicians who are smart enough to deal with tricky questions from journalists - which shouldn't be a tall order given the state of journalism in America.

She just doesn't know much. She probably doesn't keep up on the news or advancements in science and technology. She is a low-information voter. If it's not in the Bible or gossiped about at the water-cooler, it doesn't come into her radar. I mean, her husband is the First Dude of Alaska, who had at least one DWI, never went to college. She went to five colleges in six years before she got a degree, in broadcast journalism. She was a sports anchor! Have you ever listened to sports anchors - they don't know anything :(

Don't forget. . .she's a journalism major that CAN'T NAME A SINGLE NEWSPAPER OR MAGAZINE. Well, I'm guessing she could name Guns N Ammo or Soldier of Fortune, but she's already been advised not to.
