That's how it happens. Whether it's something deliberate on the part of the Universe, or merely a state of mind where we can see what is normally occluded, can be debated, but the fact remains that at times, there is something higher, greater, holistic, than our normal everyday experience of the world and once in a while we get a glimpse of it. Most people who get that glimpse spend the rest of their lives trying to get it back.
