The requests are in and survey says...
Jan. 31st, 2007 11:13 pmI know it's been a long wait, but I finally have the results of the photo meme I posted oh-so long ago.
For
rollinglilo , who wanted to see my refrigerator, coffee-maker and toes. You can see the French-press on top of the fridge and also in the picture of my favorite mug further down.

For
atomic_goo , who wanted to see the toilet, because of her empathy for undervalued toilets.

For
lady_saffir , who wanted to see my bookshelves, all of them.

For
anthropologic , who wanted to see the contents of my bag, and something hanging on my wall.

For
girlthirteen , who requested to see a picture of each meal before I ate it, and the medicine cabinet. First, my breakfast of Golden Grahams:

And then my lunch of vegetarian hot dogs and jalepeno kettle chips:

And finally, the homemade pizzas I made tonight - a pesto and tomato pizza and a mushroom and veggie-sausage pizza:. Served with a nice salad (not pictured):
The outside of the medicine cabinet:

The inside of the medicine cabinet:

For
wtfe_ezy , who'd like to see what my sink looks like. I chose the bathroom sink since which sink wasn't specified.

For
lagizma , who wants to see my pretty lady.

For
kexxy , who requested my hero and my favorite pair of shoes. It was a tough call between Jung and RAW and the Jung picture was at hand.

And the shoes:

For
skepticultist , who wanted to see stuff in my house that is only there to amuse. While there are many amusing things in my house, this picture shows things that are there strictly for amusment.

For
soavezefiretto &
furison , who both asked to see my desk in very different ways.

For
feather, who wanted to see what I see when I first wake up in the morning. Usually my alarm is going off and thus I'm reaching to shut it off and therefore: my bedside table.

For
ms_elusive, who would like to see my meager DVD collection since I recently got rid of my VHS and have yet to replenish them...

For
gutzilla, who thus instructed me to "Go to the room you spend the most of your time in while inside then lie on the floor on your back and take a photo of the ceiling."

For
laboli , who wanted to see the cats doing something silly. Like Mr. Peepers doing yoga...

Or Figaro sitting on the CD player to open it and kill the music?

For
dakinigrl , who requested my favorite coffee mug to drink from in the morning.

For
choogy, who'd like to see that new microwave and where the hell I you put it.

For
lucidpseudogod, who requested a section of wall or furniture that has been damaged/scratched/dented/stained/ruined... etc. So here is the hole in the bathroom celing from a leak in the apartment upstairs.

For
wwonka666, who requested a mistake, a blessing, a reason, an excuse. So I decided to get it all in one photo - Ethan, a mistake in the view that perhaps I should not have had him so young, a blessing in the view that he is the most amazing and important thing to ever happen to me, a reason to strive for the light, for health, for happiness, a reason to be the best person I can be, and an excuse for why I haven't accomplished as much as I may have otherwise. My son, oh how I love him so.

Date: 2007-02-14 06:12 am (UTC)We have the same microwave. I bought mine 3 weeks ago at Walmart after the old one stopped working after 11 years. I didn't really want to buy the one I did because it's too small, but I was on the cell phone while I was shopping and couldn't maneuver the bigger one into the cart and still keep the cell tucked under my jaw. So I bought the littler one instead. Is that crazy or what?
