What doesn't kill us turns to dust at sunrise leaving us to explain to the police and the insurance company why everyone is dead and the house is in shambles.
Given my recent experiences, I have to agree with you. I learned a lot this past summer and even though I felt like I was going to die, I came out feeling more like "myself" than I ever have.
It's always so hard to tell, because we get used to thinking of ourselves in terms of someone else, so when that breaks, we feel less than whole, and it takes time to figure out who we are again. It's never simple because we're always changed, never hte same person afterwards. Eventually, all the false halves will run out and like the O with the mIssing Piece, we will find ourselves whole.
