It has grown a bit and now has leaves.
Aug. 13th, 2009 08:32 amOne of my photographs, The Lonely Tree, sold at the gallery the other day. It's the first bit of art bought by a complete stranger. Unless you count the books of dinosaurs I drew and sold in second grade. I had five books, all four or five pages long, filled with very accurate drawings of dinosaurs. I went door-to-door in my little town of 250 people. I sold them all for a quarter a piece.
It wasn't for me. We were poor. I think we used the proceeds to buy bread.
