I am gastrointestinally wonkified.
Mar. 15th, 2009 07:44 amSo, like two or three weeks ago, I decided that no matter what, I would stop eating fast food. Why is this hard? Ah, you see, the life of a taxi driver - it is very easy to just grab a couple dollars worth of something on the road. So I decided that if I couldn't make it home for lunch, I just didn't eat. So far, I've made it home every day and have completely cut fast food out of my diet. (This has resulted in a 6-8 pound weight loss.)
However, now I can't eat anything that's been deep-fried without getting sick later. It's like if you don't keep a certain level of fryer grease in your system, your body forgets how to digest it. I'm not exactly complaining, because I know it's healthier, but damn, I'm going to miss my crab rangoon.
