With the exception of Thursday, when I have no classes, tomorrow should be the easiest day ever. More talk about schizophrenia in abnormal psych, watching A Raisin in the Sun in literature, watching The Odyssey in classical mythology, and talking about the history of social movements in environmental issues. Easy-peasy.
I think I have PTSD from driving for eight-to-ten hours per day in the unceasing blizzard of last winter that resulted in our record 104 inches of accumulation. We got two-and-a-half inches last night and I was unreasonably nervous about driving in it.
I really like this photograph.
If I hear one more complaint about Obama appointing a former Clinton-era person, whining that it's not change because he's not filling up his cabinet with wet-behind-the-ears, fresh-green nobodies, I am gonna shank a bitch. I trust Obama to appoint the absolute best people for the job and so far, I see no reason to believe that he's not. Every one of his appointees so far make sense and are smart, capable people. Especially his choice of Hillary as Secretary of State. She is a larger-than-life character whose movements will be heavily-covered by the media at a time when we want as much media attention as possible on how awesome America is now and how other countries are loving us again. The Clintons are well-respected around the world and though many seem to have forgotten this, they are loyal Democrats. I am quite tired of so many people treating them like they are some third-party unto themselves.
My watch battery died a year ago. I still wear it every day.
