After a beautiful and most yummy meal prepared by dear Jacquelyn, I sit here on a window seat, waiting for her to lay down her latest Scrabble word. I just dazzled the board with a high-scoring "wharf" on a double-word score.

I'm in Madison again for the week, and you, dear reader, will not believe my bad luck. On the way into Madtown this morning, my roommate's Camry blew it's timing belt, so both I and my roomie are out vehicles at the same time. I swear, I have the worst luck with vehicles. I think this is a sign from the Universe that I should either move to Europe and ride bikes everywhere, or I should become desperately rich and famous and get chauffeured everywhere. Apparently I am not allowed to drive anywhere under my own power.

Oh, It's now my turn, so I'd best leave you, dear reader to your own devices (as my devices are likely to get you in trouble.)

There in lies a problem; I love driving. However, this week of taking the bus has been pretty nice. I get lots of reading and my requesite people-watching done :)

I think I was cursed by a Feemason's wife. She hit my old blue Escort with her car and ever since then, I've had car problems. Or maybe it was my father's wife; she's the cursing type :P
