Odd odds and Shakespearian weather.

Everything is completely fucked. America has committed some great cosmic sin and we are being punished.

What are the chances that TWO, count them-one-two, Category 5 hurricanes would completely ravage the U.S.? Not very fucking likely.

And this is just the beginning of hurricane season.

I'm having my own weather-related tragedy.

Remember when I got struck by lightning? Well apparently it fried out my car's computer and my car came to a shuddering stall in a Verlo Mattress Store parking lot after work this morning.

I fretted and freaked all morning until figuring out what's going on and what I have to do. Again, I will kindly accept donations.

Jacquelyn helped me find a bus route and loaned me her phone and has completely saved my ass in a million ways in this mini-drama that is my car situation.

So what are the odds of two Category 5 hurricanes hitting the States within a week of each other? About the same as being struck by lightning.

I could have used that luck to win the lottery instead. Damn it.

Actually the odds are fairly high when you pump out so much pollution that the sea in the Gulf of Mexico heats up to around 30 degrees centigrade. :)
