The younger the better is definitely the way to go. It's one week of calamine lotion and then it's over. The older they get, the worse the pox get. They're finding that because people are exposed to chicken pox less because of vaccinations, the general immunity from repeated exposure is much less and thus, cases of shingles and adult pox are on the rise.
