We are so busy with living we forgot to die.

This is the most consecutive days Jacquelyn and I have gotten to spend together, with the exception of our trip to Vermont, without one of us having to run off to work or school. This time, it was her wisdom teeth giving us an exciting reprieve from our busy schedules. Is it always like this? I mean, life keeping everything crazy and busy. When did we as humans decide we wanted to live like this? It reminds me of a comic I heard once who said that he wanted to know who the first asshole was who stumbled around the Garden of Eden, and started barking, "Hey! We can't just lounge around with these animals all day, eating fruit and fucking all the time! GET TO WORK!"
