Some odd, odd things.

In reference to my previous post, I hunted down the source of that graph.  Apparently it's an OkCupid poll, which are supposed to be fairly accurate since they get around 300,000 respondents compared to the 3000 that respond to Gallup polls.  Anyway, they have a whole slew of graphs which range from hilarious to disturbing.

Some examples:

Would you consider role-playing out a RAPE FANTASY with partner who asked you to?

How often do you bathe or shower?

I just laugh and laugh at how much Vermont sticks out on the bathing graph. :)

i thought OKCupid was the dating site that offered silly love quizzes, etc. Is it the same thing?

Well these are still totally odd, but now that I know the sample group responding, and in what context they know their answers will be made public, the oddness comes into focus.

People are weird.

Suddenly, I'm not loving Florida as much as I used to...but Texas is looking better than I though it would!
