I just found out through Facebook that my son has his first girlfriend.

My dad found out through face book that I have boyfriends INSTEAD of girlfriends. It could be worse.

Thanks! I'm quite proud of the new layout as well. I think I'll keep it for a bit :D

I've been quite open with Ethan that boyfriends are just fine but he has assured me that he likes the ladies.

How'd your dad take it? Not well, I suppose?

Oh no, it was no big deal.
We hadn't spoken in over a year and a half, and he called to ask why facebook said I was "interested in men" and wanted to know if it meant the gay.
It was really awkward and uncomfortable for him, but he was trying to be supportive.
I thought it was funny, it brought us closer together, we talk more now.
