When I was young, I never felt nostalgia.

While hunting for a CD of last year's Christmas music, Jacquelyn unwittingly uncovered a CD of pictures my Uncle Rick had scanned for me several years ago.  My family were never big on photographs and the few that existed burned up with my mother's apartment when i was very young.  Maybe that's why I'm so photo-obsessed now, who knows.  Anyway, here is a little photographic glimpse into my childhood.

Here I am with my Uncle Rick.  I don't remember where this is at all.  Cedarburg, maybe?

I was an X-Wing pilot from a very early age.  That's my dad and grandfather in the background.  I have no idea whose car that is or what they're doing back there.  All of the rest of these were taken at my grandparent's house in Grafton.

The same day, with my sister Angela.

With Angela, at breakfast.  I loved that red cup.

I think I posted this one a long time ago - me giggling about something in the swing in my grandparent's front yard.

A picture of Angel and me hanging out amused.  I still stand like that.

Here I am a few years later, getting my hair cut by my Aunt Penny.

All the pictures at my parents' are jammed into boxes and I live in fear of them being destroyed. I love getting glimpses into the past and seeing things a little differently than I saw them at the time.

Love the swing pic, and my younger diva self would have killed for your sister's coat. I'm just sayin'.

These are adorable! I love that you had a favorite red cup. And I love your X-Wing pilot t-shirt. :)

So cute!

I have to say though, I thought my eyes deceived me when I saw 'Cedarburg'... I lived there for a few years! Now living in MA, no one has heard of it. So this post is a double blast from the past for me. :)

Ok, for starters, you and your sister are positively adorable. Also, I <3 that your choice in footwear hasn't changed much either:)

You look so much like Ethan in the one with the red cup!

I never knew your sister's name before. Perhaps someday I'll learn the names of the rest of 'em.

Your dad had a nice butt. Just sayin'.

Not too far off - though I didn't have a beard when Ethan was that small :)
