Beards of GLORY!

If you've ever wondered why I have a beard, this is your answer.

I am quite fond of reason number four:

P.S.  My abnormal psych test was hard.

P.P.S.  Upon further review, it seems that Social Problems might be Intro to Sociology Lite, so I'm dropping it in favor of Microeconomics.  Run and hide, laissez-faire capitalism, I'm comin' for ya!

Is this also why you wear your false glasses?

I've been trying to grow a beard for ages but I'm cursed with very weak facial-hair-growing skills. I consider it a personal failing.

Totally. I'm all about perceptions.

Though, they're not fake, exactly. I did have to wear glasses until I had LASIK. They're just temporary placeholders until I need prescription glasses again.

That's true, pretty much everyone needs reading glasses eventually.

I envy your frames, I've been thinking about getting ones similar to that as a stopgap until I can afford LASIK. I've had my current glasses since 2001.

You want to ditch your glasses, for realz?

Well ultimately I want Lasik. I got evaluated for it last year and I'm a candidate, it's just a matter of coming up with $4,000. I'll be able to afford it in another year or two.

In the meantime these glasses are okay, it's more that I've had them seven years and that's a bit boring. The plastic is getting quite worn on the sides so it's more whitish than brown.

But then I get all conflicted because frames are expensive and these suit me well. I don't know.

In other words I am only maybe for realz. like 65% for realz.
